Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that the Gemini app has surpassed 1 billion monthly active users, making it one of the company’s fastest-growing products. This marks the 14th Google product to reach this milestone.

According to Google, 63% of Gemini users interact with the assistant via voice, and the app generates over 150 million images daily. The company also reports more than 100 million active users on iOS. This growth follows its Q2 2026 earnings call, where Google reported over 950 million monthly users and a tripling of daily active users over the past year.

The announcement comes ahead of the Made by Google event, where additional Gemini-powered features are expected for Pixel devices.
