Lenovo is reportedly developing a new budget laptop, the IdeaPad Vibe, designed to take on Apple’s affordable MacBook Neo. Leaked images suggest the device will feature a vibrant, colorful design and a wide array of ports, positioning it as a strong contender in the entry-level Windows PC market.

According to Windows Latest, the IdeaPad Vibe is expected to launch in seven distinct color options: pink, yellow, orange-brown, green, navy blue, silver, and mint teal. Each colorway would feature a matching Lenovo logo on the lid, with a consistent dark gray keyboard area. This design strategy appears aimed at attracting consumers seeking a more distinctive look in a budget laptop, mirroring the approach Apple has taken with the MacBook Neo.

A key differentiator could be connectivity. The leaked images indicate the IdeaPad Vibe will include two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, an HDMI port, a headphone jack, and a MicroSD card slot. This is a significant advantage over the MacBook Neo, which offers only two USB-C ports and a headphone jack.
